 At first glance, the welcome bonus for new members at Black Lotus appears on the generous side. The default sign-up offer is a 200% bonus up to $7000 on your first deposit of $20 or more. You'll get this bonus by using promo code 200BLACK.
There's an alternative first-deposit bonus at Black Lotus for crypto-currency users. This time, it's obtained via promo code 650BL and results in a 650% bonus up to $1000. There's no mention on the Black Lotus promotions page regarding these bonuses but our links to the casino should direct you to a page containing the basics.
Putting it mildly, Black Lotus Casino's website isn't the best we've ever seen and this becomes particularly apparent when attempting to analyse the welcome bonus in any detail. Not only does the 'promotions' page completely omit any mention of the standard or crypto welcome bonuses, it also fails to include vital information regarding wagering required prior to cashout. For that, we had to do a deep-dive into the Black Lotus T&C and other parts of the website.
 The wagering requirement for deposit bonus at Black Lotus is x60 the bonus amount received, ie. if you make a first deposit of $20 and receive a $40 welcome bonus then your wagering requirement prior-to-cashout will be $2400 ($40 x60).
On the plus side, unlike at many other casinos, you're not strictly limited to playing only slots with your bonus money. Not all games will count 100% towards your wagering requirement - slots, keno and scratch cards all chip away at a 100% rate but you can also play other types of game at lower contributions. Three Card Poker is available at 50%, baccarat at 25%, video poker games at 10% and for the reckless, blackjack and craps can be played at a 5% contribution.
All that glitters is not gold
Despite the initial generosity appeal of the 200%/650% (non-crypto/crypto) welcome bonus, you can forget about a life-changing cashout even if you deposit big numbers and strike it lucky. Unfortunately, Black Lotus' bonus terms hamper the potential cashout considerably by enforcing a maximum cashout rule of just $1000. Whilst that might still seem an attractive cashout for the average player, it won't appeal to high rollers and/or those who have made a chunky-sized first deposit hoping to score big.
The bonus opportunities don't end at Black Lotus once you've taken the welcome bonus. Ongoing and time-limited promotions are usually available. These include bonus spins, tournaments, reload offers and prize draws for big-ticket rewards such as luxury vacations or the chance to win a car. Crypto-depositors seem to get the best of the deals at Black Lotus Casino and if this is your currency of choice, you're likely to be offered more bonuses and promotions than non-crypto players. Whilst being totally ignored on the promotions page, other parts of the Black Lotus website makes reference to these opportunities. It's a bit of a mess and you'll need to flick around different parts of the website to get even a partial picture of what's on offer. In addition, whilst it's not even mentioned on the 'banking' page, we learn elsewhere that the supported crypto-currencies are Bitcoin/Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tether.
Recommended?
 Despite being a reasonably long-time, established online casino, Black Lotus is difficult to recommend when compared to the competition. It's not terrible to the point of being NOT recommended but there isn't really anything here that isn't being done by other casinos and in a better fashion.
Even with the relatively restricted online gaming market open to USA players, there are better alternatives with all the same games (plus more) such as BetOnline and Ripper, both of which offer faster cashouts and superior welcome bonuses with fewer restrictions on how much you can win.
Black Lotus is a 'could do better' casino that won't piss you off enormously but you'll definitely be getting a better experience with superior service at alternative casinos. If you can put up with navigating the unimpressive, messy casino website and don't mind waiting a while longer than the claimed 3 days cashout period then there are probably worse casinos you could choose. Providing telephone support is a plus but still, that's hardly a firm recommendation to join Black Lotus Casino.
